A nurse from the preparation department will set up a time to call you to discuss some of the medications you may be on and also ask about your surgical history. The nurse will also answer any questions you may have about your stay in the hospital. If you have any questions about your insurance coverage or financial obligations to the hospital, you should discuss them with the hospital representative at this time. Your hospital admission will be approximately three hours prior to your scheduled surgery time.
